Two photographs, separated by time and circumstance, converge into a single image. A young gentleman dominates the composition, his gaze steady, his red-tinted glasses asserting a presence that feels both contemporary and distant. Behind him, a family of four — likely from a rural village — appears quieter, their lives marked by another rhythm, another reality.

The acrylic interventions are limited to the red frames of the young man’s glasses, emphasizing selected traces rather than embellishing the whole image. This subtle hand-painted addition gives the artwork its originality and distinct character. The work does not ask these figures to belong to the same moment — instead, it allows them to coexist, layered and intertwined, like memories that resurface together without explanation.

In this merging, eras collapse.
