Two young boys, taken from different glass negatives, have merged into a single portrait. One gazes forward with striking clarity, his eyes luminous and commanding; the other seems to dissolve beside him, his features fading into colour and light.

The fusion occurred by chance — a delicate alignment where one life sharpens as another recedes. Layers of digital colour revive the lost tones of the original photographs, giving the piece an almost painterly warmth.
