Metamorphic Horizon (Study 3, 2026)

Metamorphic Horizon (Study 3, 2026)
A bold abstract landscape composed entirely from deteriorated motifs collected over years of working with glass negatives. For the first time, these fragments are consciously assembled into a vibrant, horizontal composition. Printed on canvas and enhanced with acrylic paint, the original becomes a unique one-off from a new 2026 study.
This 2026 abstract landscape marks a significant evolution in your practice. Instead of isolating figures from fused glass negatives, you gathered the deteriorated elements themselves—textures shaped by humidity, chemical reactions, corrosion, and time—and reassembled them into a deliberate, colorful composition.
The work reads like a horizon formed from decay: layered, fluid, and atmospheric. What once existed as accidental surface damage is now elevated into structure, rhythm, and depth. The elongated format enhances its panoramic quality, inviting the viewer to move across the surface as if scanning a transformed terrain.
The original 150 × 61.5 cm version is printed on canvas and enriched with hand-applied acrylic paint, making it a true one-off artwork. Museum-quality giclée editions are also available in multiple sizes, offering collectors access to this new direction while preserving colour intensity and detail.
All artworks come with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, ensuring provenance and collector value.
