2016 - 2017
After a decade-long journey of anticipation, the archive was finally and unequivocally legally Sergis. During that span, Sergis Adamos not only navigated through legal labyrinths but also managed to carve out his creative path—publishing, curating, and even getting married.
At the close of 2017, having just wrapped up 'Risky Travels,' a sculptural dialogue for the European Capital of Culture, PAFOS2017, Sergis Adamos shifted my attention to the glass plates scattered across the basement. The photos that appeared after being scanned were nothing short of revelatory.
Sergis Adamos has learned to value patience over the years and his journey has been a testament to this virtue. As soon as he made contact with the archive, he realized its capacity to reveal previously unknown treasures, and it did not disappoint him.
