Extracted Details

“Extracted Details" is a collection of carefully selected cut-outs from various glass plates. These cut-outs are methodically documented and organized into an image bank, which is classed based on the specific details that have been extracted. I discovered these items during my thorough exploration of the vast glass plate library. When establishing this category, I have decided to keep these cut-outs as found with no modifications. The modified one will be located in the Metamorphosis 1/1 collection.

This dynamic image bank is poised to transform into a comprehensive digital repository, showcasing a wide range of distinct subcategories. The analysis will begin by isolating each distinct facial feature, such as noses, eyes, lips, ears, and haircuts.

It will then expand to include other components like ties, hand gestures, vintage things, postures, shoes, decorative elements, natural decaying patterns,  backgrounds, furniture, vases, mustaches, jewelry, and overall facial appearance. The collection will also feature amalgamations of the aesthetic qualities of various plates, capturing one particular aspect of the decay and alteration of each plate. As the project advances, other categories may arise, enhancing the Image Bank with a wider variety of historical and artistic elements.
